About

Alex Sarabia is an aspiring public servant and policymaker. Living in Mexico City as a Fulbright-García Robles researcher, he is investigating how cities can promote inclusive economic growth using the capital of Mexico as a case study.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Alex graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and received his Master in Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School. In between college and graduate school, he worked in Washington D.C. at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) public policy fellow.

Alex is a Spurs basketball fan and also enjoys reading, cooking, exploring new places, and eating tacos.
